In this the most recent survey of Wi-Fi pricing in Europe, BroadGroup has surveyed 122 service providers in 29 countries. Since the last survey in November 2004, average prices have moved down in most of the key timeband categories. Although Europe still remains more expensive than the US market, research for the report suggests that price declines are continuing to trend downwards.

The analytical report contains average price analysis across a range of time bands used, details the percentage of operators offering particular time bands, and provides
findings.

Payment methodologies are also analysed, identifying trends in subscriptions v prepaid.

Since the last report, hotspot deployment has increased the total number of hotspots by 67%.

The report provides a narrative interpreting some of the key results of the survey, supported by tables and charts, and is combined with Excel spreadsheet tariff tables presented in a common format.
