Electric powers supply and demand is keeping a basic balance in China; however, the regional disparity is big. And the imbalance of demand and supply is very serious in some developed areas like south China, east China and north China.

We present triple layers structure to analysis the electric price form high to low: The international comparison shows that the comparative grid power price and the comparative sales price (comparative electric price equals to absolute electric price divides units GDP) are on the high side, so the price may under the pressure of decline. However, due to the low absolute value, the pressure may reduced by the continual high growth of national economy.; meanwhile the comparison between countrywide average electricity price and regional average electricity price shows that the prices of the grid power in southern, eastern and the independent power grids in Fujian and Shandong are on the high side.

The ultimate aim of the electric price reform and the trend of electric power industry codetermined the adjustment of the electricity price is a long-term process. Meanwhile, due to the influence of the various original costs of the power stations, and the existence of sales radius and the extra cost of sales in different areas, the electricity prices will remain the variety in different areas, and there is no possibility to unify the price nationwide.
